2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies differently depending on whether you are browsing our public marketing website or using our private SaaS application:

2.1 On our Public Website (https://www.fuelafleet.com): We use cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site and to deliver relevant advertising. This includes Analytics cookies (like Google Analytics and Hotjar by Contentsquare), Advertisement cookies (like Google Ads and the Meta Pixel), managed via Google Tag Manager. You have full control to accept or reject these non-essential cookies using our Cookie Consent banner (powered by CookieYes). Advertising cookies are only placed if you explicitly consent to them.

2.2 Inside our SaaS Application (https://app.fuelafleet.com): Once you log in, we strictly use “Strictly Necessary” cookies. These are essential for the core functionality and security of the platform (such as maintaining your secure login session). We do not run any marketing, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies inside the private fleet management application.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary / Session Cookies: FuelaFleet app uses Flask-based session cookies to keep you securely logged into your Admin or Driver account. Without these, the application cannot function, and you would be logged out on every page refresh.

3.2 Security Cookies: Used to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks and protect your data submissions.

3.3 Third-Party Payment Cookies (Stripe): When you visit our billing page, Stripe may set cookies required to securely process your digital transactions and prevent fraud.

4. Why We Don’t Use a Cookie Consent Banner

Under the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in Slovak law) and the GDPR, prior consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested — such as keeping you logged in, protecting your session, or processing a payment you initiated. Because we exclusively use such strictly necessary cookies, and do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking, we are not required to request your consent via a cookie banner.

5. Managing Cookies

Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary for the platform to function, you cannot opt out of them while using the FuelaFleet app. If you block all cookies in your browser settings, you will not be able to log in to the FuelaFleet dashboard.
